GP Neutral Weatherproof Silicone Sealant

Sinomaco High Quality GP Super Anti UV Weatherproof Silicone Sealant is a single component, high modulus, neutral curing sealant; it produces superior adhesion to most building materials without the need of base primer.

Application scopes

1. Weatherproof sealing for glass or aluminum curtain wall of high rise buildings and skyscrapers;
2. Weatherproof sealing of large size metal (aluminum plate) or glass curtain wall;
3. Installation of various windows and doors;
4. Gap and crack sealing of marble (granite), glass and aluminum panels;
5. Installation and waterproof sealing of various kitchen appliances and sanitary wares;
6. Many other architectural decoration and industrial sealing use.

Optional color: Transparent, black, white, gray, dark gray, etc.

Product features

1. Easy to use: It maintains good consistency under ambient conditions of -25℃ – 50℃ and is easy to extrude for use.
2. Excellent thixotropy and extrudability. it is extrudable at any normal temperature (-40℃ to 100℃).
3. Non-irritating, non-corrosive to metal, coated glass, mirror glass, concrete, marble, granite and other building materials, overcoming the shortcomings of acid glue (common glass glue) to corrode the materials.
4. Good adhesion and excellent adhesive performance to most building materials.
5. Good weathering resistance and climate aging resistance and superior tensile and compressive restorative forces.

Application restrictions

Sinomaco GP Super Anti UV Weatherproof Silicone Sealant is not suitable for the following conditions:

1. All materials that ooze grease, plasticizer or solvent, some unvulcanized or partially vulcanized rubber and adhesive tapes;
2. The construction part that is not ventilated since silicone sealant needs moisture in the air to solidify;
3. Long-term immersed and year-round underground damp environment;
4. Paint surface, because the cracking or peeling of the paint film may cause the failure of sealing;
5. Frosted or damp surface;
6. Areas susceptible to mechanical wear;
7. Not advisable to construct when the surface temperature of the material is lower than 4℃ or exceeds 40℃.

Application steps

1. Clean the interface before using, if necessary, use special solvents to clean and keep dry. If primer is used to enhance the adhesion, it must be constructed after the primer is dried.
2. Completely filling to the joint to ensure bonding on both sides during construction.
3. Adhesive tapes should be affixed to the place where protection is needed, but the tape should not touch the surface to be constructed.
4. Trim immediately before curing to achieve a beautiful appearance.

Storage & Transportation

It should be stored in the original packaging under dry and ventilated conditions with temperature at 27 ° C or lower.

The product shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.

According to IMDG this materials is not dangerous can be transported as normal goods.
